The first couple for this group’s matric farewell shoot, had a sophisticated, sleek look. They shared the experience and expense between the four of them. The venue is Bastion House in Irene, which had a very artistic, earthy look and feel, with many nooks to work in.

The family had a desire to take pictures with llamas, and all we could find was alpacas. The Lewis family farm is a working farm that turned an abandoned alpaca into a herd and a thriving weekend photography venue business. Little Zion had fun with the animals and the farm was the perfect backdrop to beautiful pictures.

On the same golf course they got married, this couple had their maternity session as well. This was an emotional journey for them, and the little girl was a surprise after a long time of trying. I also did a few shots in the studio. I am always experimenting with looks and ideas.

My cousin’s baby had his first birthday party on the farm, and his mom went all out on the theme. We planned this cute styled shoot, and even though he was sick, his smiley personality persevered. The cake was a masterpiece with all the animals in sugar, and the mostly adult guests had a great time.
